Our client is an important player in the agri-food industry, representing over 30% of local production. The group, based in Sardinia and already active in international markets, places great importance on quality during every phase of the production chain and its main products have been attributed the DOP (PDO) recognition.
In order to expand its presence to the Far East, we have been asked to search for a:
BUSINESS DEVELOPER Far East (rif. SP 102/BL)
Reporting directly to the President and working with high operational autonomy, the BD will be responsible for winning profitable new business for the groups products via all distribution channels (large-scale retailers, restaurants, etc.), providing his/her competence in market analysis, establishing and managing relationships with new clients and conducting direct commercial negotiations.
This is an interesting opportunity for a young qualified professional with experience in food export (preferably in the Far East), strong international marketing skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities. Successful candidates must be fluent in English and Italian, self-starters and dynamic, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Knowledge of a second language such as Mandarin/Cantonese or Japanese and a Masters degree in Food Sales and Marketing will be considered a plus.
Although the BD will report to the headquarters in Sardinia, he/she will be expected to ensure consistent group representation in the agreed upon territory.
Remuneration and contract type will be defined on the basis of the candidates professional background and requirements.
